  They were fooling around in my fenced in and LOCKED back yard over a year ago at 1:30 in the morning no warrant shinning their lights in my wife and I duplex windows looking in our garbage and sheds .....they said they were looking for my tenant upstairs who wasn't home so they decided to break the law and keep searching even after I said she wasn't home...all on camera and the video is with my lawyer... they even pulled me over for nothing in that morning just to try and search my car...very corrupt... but yet too stupid to see that I have surveillance cameras filming them breaking the law jumping my fence....

  If you are from Ontario and you have tinted windows stay away from Gatineau they don't want your business and it's best to stay home to shop. Not once have I ever been pulled over for tinted in my home province of Ontario. From what I understand it's tolerated and police have better things to do. In the past month and a half I have been pulled over twice by the SAME officer. Both times I was coming back from getting a haircut. My hairdresser recently moved from Rideau to promenades.

  Had an Excellent Experience with a Young Gatineau Police Officer by the name of Patrick Despots this morning at the Gatineau Hospital. As I was Parked in the Handicapp Parking, Vignette Displayed, Car in Park and turned off, waiting for a neighbour of mine who had an appontment, a large older model beige f-150 backed into me. As I got out to ask, him for his Insurance Papers he tryed backing in again almost taking off my Door. After several attempts he finall Parked beside me in a spot reserved for Emergency Vehicles and began to eat a very large Honey Donut. After asking him for his Papers the Older Gentleman told me to F-myself and F- Off. I then went in and got the Hospital Security and they also got told where to go, so the Security Supervisor called the Police for me as a Municipal Law was being broken. I did not get the Hospital Security Supervisors name but he was extremely Professional and Courteous. Now that I think it over I believe that his last name was Lafrance, and he was from Aylmer. Within 15 minutes Officer Patrick Despots shows up, asked me asked me if I preferred to Speak English or French, spoke with Myself, the Hosptal Security Supervisor and then the f-150 Driver. He was very Pleasant, Courteous and Professional, answered all of My Questions, made out his Report and gave me the Report Number. He asked the Rowdy f-150 Driver to go Park elsewhere as his Handicap Vignette was useless in an Emergency Vehicle Parking spot.

  Zero stars are more like it. Thought Ottawa Police were bad; they are nothing compared to these bozos. Unprofessional and rude are what I can describe them the best. If you're English and from Ontario then they will pick on you for no reason and give you the "royal treatment".

  I was impressed for the professionalism and excellent service that the agent Miguel Gagnon gave us at the accident site on June 21, 2017. I am now confident that we are in good hands. Thanks again.

  I wonder how Quebec residents would feel if they started getting tickets for studded snow tires. It's permitted in Quebec but NOT in Ontario. Even better having no plates on the front of your car is illegal in Ontario. I know I'm reaching but it's common sense to not harass residents of another province for such a minor issue especially one that is tolerated elsewhere.
