  I had mechanical issues in the middle of a long ride. I found this bike shop on google maps and they made room for me right away to get me back on the road ASAP. Could not have asked for better service!

  I called earlier in the day asking about a Trek 3500 I wanted to purchase. I left a message asking if they could call back. No call back, but no biggie. I was in a hurry and called to inquire when they closed as I was simply going to walk in and take a visit. The person who answered simply and arrogantly placed me on the automated reading telling me the store hours only in french. After about 15 seconds he came back on the line, didn't say a word and hung up. Called back, and there was no answer.

  Now..that was 25 years and+ ago. It's now a 'modern' bike shop., The house has been converted to a complete bike shop. and the repair department is the neighbouring building..

  Go to Cyclo-Sportif if you're anti-English and if you're not, go to Bushtukah. Guys at Bushtukah were awesome and ended up buying the 3500 there. Glad I did.

  I wouldn't waste my time with this place. I was ready to buy a $500+ Trek 3500 and if that's how they go about doing business, I'd highly advise you look elsewhere.

  from going there but not me.. everytime i show up, it's full pop or 'we'll order it for you" because we don't have it and don't care dealing with dudes who fix their own bikes.

  This used to be the place in gatineau to bring your bike to be fixed..it was run by a gentleman in the basement of this place (which was his residence too) and he was good to deal with.. He really knew his stuff and he had good friendly prices. I used to go here to buy some parts for my bike projects and he'd help me sometimes check out through his piles of old bikes.

  i do not go there anymore..anything else than buying something off the floor is out of the question..i still build bikes .. now higher end builds and the absolutely do not want buys fixing their own bikes showing up.. I even wanted to buy some spokes and nipples and the repair dude didn't want to help me.

  They have a good selection of bikes from different manufacturers but their prices are the Highest in the region. everyone who goes there is just a mom and pops - family who wants to buy a bike not worrying on the price and are not interested in looking for a better deal.. I am sure there is a large amount of customers that are satisfied
